Trying hard to communicate
Article Abstract:
The peace talks between North Korea and South Korea, agreed to build confidence between the two countries, have suddenly ended with opposite effect. The fierce gun battle near the maritime boundary in the Yellow Sea due to a problem with the radio communication signals between navy vessels, and the non-cooperation between the South Korean civilians and the military have proved the superficial nature of the negotiations between the two countries.

Freeing the labor market

An inflexible labor market is the biggest single obstacle to investment in South Korea. President Roh Moo Hyun intends to carry out tough economic reforms that will attract more foreign and domestic investment and will lead to an increase in economic growth.
