Tung's Tiananmen headache: Hong Kong and China

A crowd estimated to be 55,000 congregated in Hong Kong's Victoria Park on Jun 4, 1997, to commemorate the 1989 Tiananmen massacre. Tung Chee-hwa may attempt to ban such demonstrations next year to please Chinese leaders and quell populist movements in Hong Kong.
