Two droughts: Africa
Article Abstract:
Most of Southern Africa planned well for the current drought and began making arrangements to import extra grain at the onset. In East Africa, however, ongoing civil war in Somalia, Ethiopia and the Sudan has contributed to famine and displacement of farmers, who have become refugees.
