UPC shares fall on expectations of net regulation

United Pan-Europe Communications NV (UPC) saw its share value fall as a result of concerns that the firm may have to make its network open to Internet service provider competition. Dutch antitrust regulators decided that UPC's cable network monopoly would hurt Internet access competition.
