Undesirable facility location with minimal covering objectives
Article Abstract:
An undesirable facility is to be situated within some feasible region of any shape or on a planar network. Population is assumed to be concentrated at a finite number of n points. Two criteria are considered: a radius of influence to be maximized and the total covered population. Low complexity polynomial algorithms are derived to determine all nondominated solutions, of which there are only O(n cubed) for a fixed feasible region or O(n squared) when locating on a planar network.

A proposal of research models
Article Abstract:
Computer reservation systems (CRSs) are an example of successfully-employed computer based information technologies (CBITs). The use of CBITs for electronic commerce is expected to be boosted by a combination of factors including software standardization, cost reduction, virtual reality, and the ability to match consumer requirements with recommendations. An overview of the role of CBITs in service industry marketing is given.
