Germany stole art from hundreds of museums in Russia and other Soviet countries during World War II, and other similar plundering and thefts have occurred throughout history. Recent cases involving the return of stolen art has museums pondering ethical questions.

Roughly one-eighth of all employees in the industrialized countries receive compensation in the form of profit sharing, according to an Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) report. The economics of such compensation are analyzed.
