Mixed reviews for one-offs
Article Abstract:
One-off supplements for newspapers have become a major source of income for major urban dailies in Canada. One-offs are for newspaper advertisers who need a more tightly focused editorial climate. It is believed that the stand-alone supplement engenders more reader awareness than several articles on the same issue. However, there is concern that too much success will make the supplements appear regularly and make them lose their effectiveness.
