Wary partners in the South Atlantic
Article Abstract:
Britain and Argentina remain wary of embracing each other fully as economic partners because of the subject of jurisdiction concerning the Falkland Islands. The island group is geographically near Argentina and the British are negotiating on a possible settlement on the matter. Island residents however, remain wary of Argentine motives and cooperation between Argentina and Britain remains economic in nature and not political.

The bloodhounds of history: is encouraging human rights a legitimate goal of foreign policy?
Article Abstract:
Efforts by different governments to force countries to improve their human rights have occurred since the 1800s. Diplomats focused on the importance of national interests to defend their positions, even if they are contradictory. Pressure from businessmen does not help advance human rights.
