Westin selling luxury items online

Westin Hotels & Resorts is selling upscale bath items through its Web site. The $10-million online initiative was inspired by Westin's Heavenly Bed promotion, with the hotel chain offering new beds and beddings for sale. A Westin spokeswoman said the marketing effort would target the business niche market, making the guest experience even better. Westin is also refurbishing its 10 hotels in Canada as part of its 'Heavenly Bath' program.

Torstar breaks out of T.O
Article Abstract:
Torstar Corp's acquisition of four dailies in southern Ontario has immensely improved the company's position in the newspaper industry. The purchase is projected to result in more advertising revenue for the company, which has already made a significant increase in circulation. Torstar is in the process of purchasing the Hamilton Spectator, Kitchener- Waterloo Record, Cambridge Reporter and Guelph Mercury.
