Remedies for Microsoft
Article Abstract:
Microsoft has been found guilty of abusing its power, and is not trusted by the Justice Department. The exploitation of Windows is a problem that has to be tackled while allowing Microsoft to innovate. Regulation of Microsoft as a monopoly could hamper its ability to innovate. The company itself could benefit from being broken up, a move which would allow for real competition in operating systems and stimulate innovation. Bill Gates should see this as a creative alternative to the legal route that he seems to have selected.
