Why your birth control may not work
Article Abstract:
Several methods of birth control can fail for a range of reasons. The pill is rendered less effective if taken in conjunction with St. John's wort; the fit of a cervical cap or diaphragm may change through weight loss or gain; condoms are weakened by oil-based lubricants and the rhythm method can be unreliable. Other factors are discussed.
