Workers tell of adding 'powders' to Bre-X gold samples

Indonesian workers hired by Bre-X Minerals Ltd say the company's geologists and metallurgists tampered with gold mine rock samples. An investigation has found that Canadian-based Bre-X Minerals, particularly its chief geologist Michael de Guzman, failed to handle the samples from its Busang, Indonesia, mine according to industry standards. The workers told of mysterious mixing of materials at a secret warehouse where the samples were stored.
