A paradigm for sequential experimentation
Article Abstract:
Sequential experimentation is used to facilitate the solution of many human factors design problems that have large data spaces and numerous factors at play. An integrated research paradigm for sequential experimentation in conducting ergonomics research is presented. The research paradigm involves four steps, namely, the planning research strategy, selecting, describing, and optimizing design variables.

It is time for a compromise between the tobacco industry, the lawmakers, and the US public and their lawyers. Half-truths about the industry are analyzed and five suggestions for settling the dispute and ending tobacco-bashing are offered. They include restrictions on youth-targeted marketing.
