The UK non-residential property market: how serious a problem?
Article Abstract:
When looking at the economic performance of commercial developments in the UK a distinction should be made between London and the remainder of the country. London was oversupplied with office space, but in the UK generally income from property was high. Comparisons are made between this recession and the 1970's, but this has to be balanced between by looking at overbuilding in the 1980's which has slowed in the 1990's. There is space available to take advantage of the end of the recession, although London's problems may continue.

A taxonomy of blatant ergonomic blunders
Article Abstract:
Interior controls of American cars are designed and located so poorly that drivers compromise safety when using them. Often, designers include numerous indistinguishable buttons when only a few easily located controls will do just as well. Car designers need to have more coordination in designing safe and efficient vehicles and must realize the benefits afforded by learning from other manufacturers, subsequently improving on the concepts they acquire.
