AMP adds 3-D parts to its Web catalog
Article Abstract:
The Web site of Pennsylvania firm AMP Inc. has one of the most detailed information compared to other sites. The online content, layout and interactivity of the site was developed based on the requirements of the customers. It even provides three-dimensional models of over 6,000 products that engineers can easily download and include directly in their own designs. This frees the engineers from making the 3-D models themselves. Another positive trait of the site is its multilingual content. It has versions in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and South Korean.

How to target new site promotions
Article Abstract:
Web marketers should refrain from automatically getting listed in the major search engines and directories. This practice, in which third-party automated services submit the marketers' site information to several search engines and directories, does not ensure success. What these marketers should do is to choose subject-specific search engines. This guarantees that the right target audience of the promotion is reached and served appropriately.
