Agrofert (Prague, Czech Republic), chemical and food products group, saw a net consolidated profit of CEK 2.42 bil in 2000. The sum is 141% higher compared to 1999. The group's proceeds totalled CEK 29.8 bil in 2000, 71% more compared to 1999. The profit and proceeds do not include the results of Aliachem (Czech Republic), Maso Plana (Czech Republic) and Masna Studena (Czech Republic). The group saw proceeds of CEK 14.6 bil for Jan-Apr/2001.

Spolchemie's proceeds exceed CEK 3 bil

Spolchemie (Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic), chemical company, expects proceeds of CEK 3.317 bil and a net profit of CEK 151 mil in 2001. In 2000 the company raised its proceeds to CEK 3.119 bil, up 13.4% from 1999. In 2000 it made a book loss of CEK 155 mil, having generated a profit of nearly CEK 21 mil in 1999. It exported 17% of its production to Germany and other western and central European countries.

Precheza raises its net profit considerably

Precheza (Prerov, Czech Republic), chemical firm, saw an audited profit of CEK 232 mil in 2000. The sum is 115% higher compared to 1999. The company's proceeds rose by about 17% to CEK 1.868 bil in 2000 compared to 1999. Precheza is the largest domestic inorganic and ferric pigment producer.
