Agusta helo flies LUH-type missions
Article Abstract:
The UK/Italian producer AgustaWestland's US 139 has flown mission profiles like those the helicopter would have to accomplish if it is selected as the Army's new Light Utility Helicopter (LUH). The Army's LUH program demands that a helicopter should meet particular range and performance requirements, as well as be able to carry a specific amount of payload inside and outside the aircraft, and US139 is the only aircraft that meets all the requirements.
