Aiming to be number one
Article Abstract:
The Jakarata Stock Exchange (JSX) has performed well during 1997, despite political uncertainties. Daily JSX composite stock price index increased to 680 points, or 28%, during May 1996 to May 1997. High corporate earnings and good interest rates and favorable inflation forecasts continue to make the exchange look attractive to investors. The market is less expensive than others.
