Article Abstract:
The new report from the General Accounting Office (GAO) indicates that since the Department of Defense has not updated its requirements for the aircraft, the Air Force does not have any idea regarding the future needs for the aerial refueling tankers. The GAO stated that the Air Force could opt for either acquiring new aircraft or converting used aircrafts into tankers or contracting for refueling services in order to fulfill its project refueling requirements.
