Article Abstract:
Chewing gum tycoon William Wrigley purchased 4,900 more shares of American Home Products Corp at 74 1/4 points thus bringing his total holdings to 12,550 shares. Wrigley's decision to buy seems wise in the light of American Home Products' March 1992 13% sales and 15% earnings gains. The good performance was brought about by a 20% increase in sales in the domestic pharmaceuticals area.
