Article Abstract:
Engineered Air Systems Inc.*, St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $36,805,500 modification to a firm-fixed-price contract for 113 Chemical Biological Protective Shelter Systems (CBPSS). These systems are a rapidly deployable, self-contained mobile medical aid station, command post or emergency facility providing a contamination-free, environmentally controlled emergency work area. Work will be performed in St. Louis, Mo., and is expected to be completed by Jan. 6, 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were ten bids solicited on May 1, 1995, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Soldiers Biological Chemical Command, Natick, Mass. (DAAK60-96-C-3009).

Work will be performed in Oshkosh**, Wis., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 30, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on March 15, 1996. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive & Armaments Command, Warren, Mich. (DAAE07-96-C-X159).
