Army invites Bell-Boeing to compete for heavy-lift platform
Article Abstract:
The Army has asked the Bell-Boeing to compete for a contract to supply a heavy-lift rotorcraft where Bell-Boeing gets a new chance to sell a much larger four-engine Quad TiltRotor in development. Bell-Boeing and The Boeing Co. already holds a contract worth $50 billion over many years to supply V-22 Ospreys to the Marine Corps, Air Force and Navy.

Northrop rolls out new aerial target aircraft today
Article Abstract:
Northrop Grumman representatives and the US Navy officials would be unveiling the new BMQ-74F, an aerial target the company is developing for the Navy's use on August 22, 2005. The new aircraft comes as a successor and update to Northrop Grumman's 74E model, which the company has been producing for the Navy since 1966.
