The US Army needs solutions from contractors that permit vehicles, tanks and other mobile ground assets to provide more punch against the enemy with less weight and volume. The contractors have pitched many ideas, but the Army needs innovations that provide more firepower per vehicle and per unit of space, and volume that allows them to better sustain platforms.

Army nears decision to replace Aerial Common Sensor Platform
Article Abstract:
The US Army has to take a decision as to what platform should replace the too-small plane that Lockheed Martin Corporation had intended to use for the Aerial Common sensor (ACS) intelligence aircraft. Pentagon is considering whether to permit Lockheed to retain the contract or cancel the current contract and start the acquisition process all over again.

Lockheed delivers 170 rockets to army, hellfires to Australia

Lockheed Martin Corporation has delivered 170 Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) rockets to the United States as well as sold Hellfire II and M299 launchers to the Australian military. The power and capabilities of both these products are described.
