Army revamp portends UAV acquisition 'explosion'

The Army Aviation Warfighting Center (AAWC) has assumed control of the Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Training Battalion, thereby beginning a new phase for the program previously commanded by Company E, 305th Military Intelligence (MI) Battalion. AAWC's commander Brig. Gen. E.J. Sinclair reveals that the goal of the limitless missions for unmanned systems was for soldiers to continue to adapt it to accomplish their assigned missions in a safer and more efficient manner than before.
