An Australian Embassy aide stated that Australia grounded its Sea King helicopters for the second time on safety concerns. One of the Sea Kings made by the AgustaWestland crashed on April 2, 2005, perhaps because of a mechanical fault, killing nine while two others were injured and the Australian Embassy aide states that questions are raised about safety issues during tsunami relief operations.
