B-M engineers biotech PR drive by Monsanto

Biotech foods maker Monsanto Co has tapped public relations firm Burson- Marsteller to launch a campaign picthing the safety of genetically modified foods as safe for people and the environment. The PR campaign is part of the company's strategy to reach out to environmentalists who are against biotechnology foods. Biotech companies, in general, are concerned that the hysteria sweeping over Europe regarding genetically modified foods will reach the US.
