Double strike for Norman Foster
Article Abstract:
The 10 billion pounds sterling Cepk Lap Kok airport project in Hong Kong is one of two contracts won recently by Sir Norman Foster and Partners. In Hong Kong, it is part of The Mott Consortium, which will develop an airport with handling capacity of 35 million passengers a year, reaching 87 million by 2040. Work will be carried out over two years on a fixed-price basis. The second contract is for the Museum of Prehistoric Mankind in Quinson, France, and is worth around 6 million pounds sterling. This will be a two-storey building cut into the landscape.
