Boeing, Air Force dispute IG tanker report
Article Abstract:
Boeing Co. and the Air Force are disputing the findings of a report by the Pentagon Inspector General (IG) on BoeingEs aerial tanker lease deal with the Air Force and the duo maintain that leasing would be the fastest way to get the new aircraft. While the Air Force pointed out that the IG was unable to find a compelling reason to cancel the deal, Boeing stated that contrary to the IG's findings the deal facilitated increased visibility into the company's commercial aircraft sales.
