Hunter urges rise in total defense spending: Other leaders urge full funding
Article Abstract:
Rep. Duncan Hunter and other leading Washington officials feel it is time to increase the total amount spent on defense. However, some critics have objected to the rise of defense spending from less than $300 billion in fiscal 2001 to more than $500 billion in the upcoming fiscal year ending September 2007.

Boeing leader urges multi-contractor, multi-national programs
Article Abstract:
Jim Albaugh, president and CEO of Boeing integrated defense systems wants companies in the aerospace industry to join together to give customers the best in hardware. He is also of the opinion that customers can get best solutions from contractors around the globe and not necessarily from one place.
