Bought to order
Article Abstract:
The London Stock Exchange has launched SETS, the exchange's electronic trading service, also called the Electronic Order Book. The new system will only initially be applied to the 100 largest companies in the FTSE 100 with a minimum order of 500 stocks priced at over 5 pounds sterling each, or 1,000 stocks if they are priced at under 5 pounds. The system will then be extended to the 250 largest stocks. Private investors are likely to benefit from the new system.
