Caution for UK and US leads to 'emerging' bias
Article Abstract:
There is concern over share prices in developed economies in 1997, and emerging markets appear a more attractive investment in this context. The aim is to find markets that are underrated and seek to time investments so they are made at the bottom of the market. Some markets like Japan and India appear to involve high risk levels. Single-country trusts involve more risk than those that are diversified. Investors should note risk levels and not invest funds they cannor afford to be without.
