Article Abstract:
Commscope Inc.'s holding shares was brought to the market last Jul 28. Three of the coaxial cable company employees have brought some of the company's holdings shares. Between Aug 12 to 22, they obtained 67,000 shares at prices averaging $16.63. Among them is Commscope Chmn Frank Drendel who bought 58,000 shares at $16.63. These insiders were able to acquire holding shares at a lower pricer due to the recent weakness in the shares which were attributed to a progressing negative pricing environment overseas for coaxial cable products and an associated downgrade by a major securities firm.
