Complete genome sequence of the metabolically versatile photosynthetic bacterium Rhodopseudomonas palustris
Article Abstract:
The genome sequence of Rhodopseudomonas palustris consist of a 5459213-base-pair (bp) circular chromosome with 4836 predicted genes and plasmid of 8427bp which reveals genes that confer a remarkably large number of options within a given type of metabolism. This sequence of genome is a starting point to use R. palustris as a model to explore how organism integrate metabolic modules in response to environmental perturbations.

Post-integration stabilization of a transposon vector by terminal sequence deletion in Drosophila melanogaster
Article Abstract:
The post integration stabilization of a transposon vector by terminal sequence deletion in Drosophila melanogaster is described. The method of deletion of terminal repeat sequence of a transposon vector after genomic integration prevents transposase-mediated remobilization of the other terminal sequence and associated genes ensuring the genomic stability.

Complete sequence and comparative genome analysis of the diary bacterium Streptococcus thermophilus
Article Abstract:
The complete genome sequence and comparative genome analysis of the dairy bacterium Streptococcus thermophilus is discussed. It can be concluded that the Streptococcus thermophilus evolved through the loss-of-function events that reflect the environment of the dairy niche and results in a decreased pathogenic potential.
