Computerized Inquiry Handling: Why you Should 'Close the Advertising Loop' Electronically
Article Abstract:
Inquiry handling problems exist because advertisers fail to recognize that marketing information should not be on paper form, but should come electronically, via the telephone and the computer. Inquiry handling systems must be responsive, an attribute which the telephone can provide. Lead programs can be conducted by a professional staff, inside, on telephones. Complemented with the appropriate computer program, the in-house staff can assist the lead on the phone immediately. Marketers and service bureaus now offer comuterized response systems for assisting the telephone sales rep in properly channeling the incoming lead.
