Corporate cash holdings: and empirical investigation of UK companies
Article Abstract:
The corporate cash holdings of some of the United Kingdom companies are investigated for their managerial ownership, board structure and ultimate controllers and their influence. The investigation found that the companies' growth opportunities, cash flows, liquid assets, leverage and bank debt are the determinants of their cash holdings.

The number and the closeness of bank relationships

The models for financing strategy of firms, which rely on bank debts, are examined. The number of bank relationships to be established and the closeness of the relationships in terms of providing confidential information are discussed.
