They're playing our theme
Article Abstract:
Theme-based investment funds aim to invest in companies worldwide that are likely to benefit from trends such as privatization or demographic change. They include the planned Dynamic Theme fund from GT Global, and they ignore sectors and geographical classification systems. These funds have potential to perform better than general international funds, but they also involve risks. There may be currency risks, and the skills of the fund manager are also important.
