How to postpone paying for Christmas
Article Abstract:
Christmas can lead consumers to spend more than they had intended and repaying debts can represent a burden, so consumers should plan their finances. They should avoid store cards, which tend to have very high interest rates, as well as unauthorized overdrafts, which have penalty fees as well as high interest rates. Shoppers can use savings, credit cards, authorized overdrafts, and personal loans. Using savings is usually the cheapest route, though credit cards often offer low interest rates. Authorized overdraft rates from banks also vary greatly.

Early end to cheap credit
Article Abstract:
United Kingdom credit cards may cease to offer special deals. This has occurred with RBS Advanta which offers a low interest rate, and even lower introductory rate, and no interest for debt transferred from elsewhere if it is repaid in full by a deadline. The company has withdrawn its cards from some consumers who used this deal, though they have abided by the company's regulations. The company argues that customers can keep transferring debt to different cars and pay no interest, and such practices damage the interests of normal customers.

Credit cards: your guide to fees, cashback and bonus points
Article Abstract:
Credit card customers can be divided into two main types, those who pay all that they owe by the deadline each month, and those who borrow using their credit card. Each type of customer needs a different type of credit card. Customers paying in full every month benefit from a good loyalty scheme, a long interest-free period, and no annual fee. Customers using credit cards to borrow benefits more from low interest rates, and cannot use the interest-free period.
