DHS lacks chemical plants power
Article Abstract:
The Government Accountability Office (GAO) has reported that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) lacks authority to order corporations operating chemical plants to install protective systems. The GAO has also recommended the DHS to study the possible benefits of using new technologies to safeguard the chemical plants.

Study: CVN 21 cost may near $13 billion; funding questions loom
Article Abstract:
The next-generation aircraft carrier CVN21's cost might be more than $12 billion and perhaps roughly $13 billion, rather than the $11.7 billion official Navy estimate. The total price tag figures may cover both developing the first-in-its-class ship and then building it.
