Article Abstract:
Military analysts examining the course of growing international interdependence in the business of making machines of war have assessed that the globalization of defense industry would continue at a stately pace rather than a breakneck pace. It is affected by various factors like national security issues, UK demanding greater share of Pentagon contracts, fluctuating value of the U.S. dollar against foreign currencies and relationship between U.S. and its allies.

Lockheed likely gaining $50 million missile sale to Taiwan
Article Abstract:
Lockheed Martin Corp. of U.S.A. is likely to sell over 400 AGM -114M blast-fragmentation Hellfire missile rounds to Taiwan against the backdrop of China's increasingly aggressive stance towards Taiwan. The missile has proved effective against buildings, ships, light armor and urban targets in Afghanistan and Iraq and the prospective sale would provide Taiwan with a first-rate air-to-ground system.
