Middleberg/Ross study shows Internet trends
Article Abstract:
More newspaper and magazine publishers are publishing original content on their Web sites, according to a 1998 survey conducted by Middleberg/Ross. Nearly 40% of magazine respondents claim that half of the content on their Web sites is original, while 22% of newspaper respondents make the same claim. The 1996 survey only found 7% of newspapers that had 50% original material on their Web sites.
