Dyersburg textile profits keyed to mass merchants
Article Abstract:
Dyersburg Corp is one of the biggest manufacturer of fleece and jersey knit fabrics in the apparel industry. It posted a 62-cent earning for FY 1991 due to sales of $135 million. Operating profits for the nine months of FY 1992 rose to $4.89 million because of a $114 million sales hike. Analysts Tammi Kuntz and John Pickler are both bullish about the short-term and long-term estimates for the stock. Dyersburg has no dividends on its 13.7 million shares.
