Efficient enucleation of erythroblasts differentiated in vitro from hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells
Article Abstract:
A method to produce enucleated red blood cells (RBCs) efficiently in the absence of feeder cells is developed in an attempt to improve the in vitro production of RBCs from immature hematopoietic progenitor cells. The method might represent an efficient way to produce transfusable RBCs on a large scale from hematopoietic progenitors.

The genome sequence of the capnophilic rumen bacterium Mannheimia succiniciproducens
Article Abstract:
An isolated capnophilic Gram-negative bacterium from bovine rumen, Manheimia succiniciproducens is reported with the 2,314,078 base pair genome sequence. The metabolism of M. succiniciproducens adapts to oxygen-free rumen by using fumarate as a major electron acceptor.
