Elephant-sized potential gain
Article Abstract:
The local government of Southwark, London, England, plans to develop the locality of Elephant and Castle, and this should benefit real estate company, UK Land. The company owns a 3.5 acre shopping center at Elephant and Castle which accounts for 70% of its portfolio. The developer has yet to be decided, but UK Land should benefit whoever is chosen. UK Land does not plan to accept an offer of under 25 million pounds sterling for the shopping center, and could consider a JV with a real estate developer.
