FCA partnership to seek more DOD aircraft business
Article Abstract:
A joint, transatlantic joint venture hoping to win the competition for the Army's Future Cargo Aircraft (FCA) program will also look into other Department of Defense (DOD) aircraft contracts. Global Military Aircraft Systems (GMAS), a joint venture between the US-based L-3 Communications Integrated Systems and the North American arm of European firm Alenia, plans to enter Alenia's C-27J Spartan aircraft in a bid to FCA.
