General Mills Inc is partnering with GetMusic on a music promotion that offers eight exclusive compact disc (CD) compilations that include NSYNC, Sting and Boyz II Men. The promotion, which uses interactive in-store display to bring it to life, involves over 20 General Mills' cereal brands, such as Chex, Cheerios, Honey Nut Cheerios, Lucky Charms, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Total. A 'Gotta Get It Hits' Listening Station in over 25,000 grocery stores throughout the US will enable customers to hear clips from each of the eight CDs.

General Mills Inc has launched plans for a familiar attraction known as 'Cereal Adventure' to be created at Mall of America. The attraction will feature cereal-themed games, shows and playground equipment. Quaker Oats display debuts Sea Adventures

Chicago, IL-based Quaker Oats Co has launched the new Quaker Oatmeal Sea Adventures through the use of a corrugated 'ship' display. The display, which was created by Hiawatha, IA-based CCB Packaging, is aimed at children whose response to it has been remarkably strong. The corrugated display depicts a ship, sharks and buried treasure in a blue sea that are also featured in the product's packaging.
