Greece buys F-16s in $2 billion deal

The Greek government has consented to buy 30 F-16 aircraft in a $1.99 billion deal that would earn about $1.2 billion for Lockheed Martin Corporation. Lockheed Martin will be providing the Block 52+ version of the F-16, which has enhanced capabilities including an expanded core computing capacity, larger selection of precision weapons, improved communication suite for pilot situational awareness and an internal electronic warfare suite.
