In firing CEO, Boeing opts for quick purge

Harry Stonecipher, the chief executive officer of The Boeing Co. was fired as he had an affair with a female Boeing executive that followed an Air Force decision to restore Boeing as a contractor for its space rocket program known as the Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV). However, a Boeing spokesman denied stating that there was no link between Stonecipher resignation and the space rocket program reinstatement.

Boeing starts production on EA-18G test craft
Article Abstract:
The Boeing Company is supposed to start producing the forward fuselage for the first test version of the Ea-18G electronic warfare aircraft. Boeing is the prime contractor for the EA-18G, the Navy's next generation electronic attack aircraft and for the F/A-18E/F Super Hornet fighter aircraft on which the EA-18G is based.
