Johnnie D. Johnson & Co. Inc. (JDJ) is a New York-based internal revenue firm that filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy with listed debts amounting to $2,248,798 and 38 staffers at the beginning of 1998. The firm's founder Johnnie D. Johnson has opened a new firm called Strategic IR Inc. employing six former JDJ staffers as well as eight outside consultants. JDJ's bankruptcy was attributed to mergers and lawsuits that resulted in the departure of its three top senior consultants and several clients. Johnson is himself the biggest creditor of the firm at $842,050.

RF Group formed; Binder to spin-off
Article Abstract:
Ruder Finn Group (RFG) is the new holding company formed by Ruder Finn Inc's CEO David Finn. Finn is also the CEO of RFG, and his daughter Dena Merriam was appointed Vice Chairman. In addition to Finn and Merriam, other members of RFG's Office of the Chairman are Finn's children, namely Kathy Bloomgarden and Peter Finn, who were named Co-CEOs of RFI. RFI management team also include RF Americas Pres Richard Funess, CFO Tony Esposito and Chief Creative Officer Michael Schubert.
