Keep away from the edge
Article Abstract:
Stress can undermine the health of any person. Contrary to the belief of some, it does not come only from major life events but also from the piling up of seemingly inconsequential everyday hassles. Stress can have physical manifestations, including high blood pressure, migraine, heart disease, peptic ulcer, infertility and skin disorders. It can also have mental effects, some of which may be subtle such as fatigue while others may be serious and dramatic, such as a nervous breakdown, suicide attempts or violent behavior. Eliminating the source of stress is the most effective way of preventing it. Other ways of mitigating stress include taking a holiday, doing stress-reduction exercises, taking breaks from work, prioritizing tasks and being assertive.
