Article Abstract:
Lisa Krohn is a leading industrial designer of Los Angeles and founder of the firm Krab Design in Los Angeles. Apprenticed under Mario Bellini and other renowned designers, Krohn has won major design competition awards, such as the 1987 Grand Prize in the Forma Finlandia. She launched the firm Krab Design in 1995 along with furniture maker Greg Abbott. The firm's furnishings include a geometric media cart and several styles of chairs, stools, lamps and tables. Krohn and Abbott are also designing special pieces for retail environments and restaurants, and supplying furnitures to films and TVs.

Cycling enthusiasts now have a new range of aerodynamically designed wheels available to them. Earlier these sleek and speedy wheels were used only for racing and their availability in the market is recent. The durability, lightweight and low rolling resistance of the new designs make them very attractive.
